How we protect data

This notice explains data handling in Radar IA, a free business self-assessment operated from Brazil. It includes information for US and Canadian users. Applicable federal, state and provincial laws depend on the location, scope and circumstances of processing; selecting English does not determine jurisdiction.
1. Who is responsible
The operator is Sócrates ONE Web Design LTDA., Brazilian registration CNPJ 55.962.266/0001-07, trading as Sócrates Creative Studio. Contact info@socrates.la for privacy questions, access, correction, withdrawal of marketing permission or deletion requests.
2. Information we use
We use questionnaire answers, calculated scores, name and business identification, reported business size and assessment date. Email and WhatsApp are optional if you decline contact. Accounts also use a name, email and a password stored as a one-way hash, not readable text. Support requests include your message and contact preference. Do not enter sensitive information, documents or customer personal data in free-text fields.
3. Your choices
Without marketing permission or an account, results remain temporarily in your session for viewing and downloading. They become inaccessible after 2 hours of inactivity; technical session file removal depends on server cleanup. No CRM contact record is created. If you agree to contact, your details and assessment are retained for that purpose. If you choose an account, results can be saved at your request for future access. An account does not authorize marketing.
4. Purposes and permission
We process information to provide the assessment and account you request. Marketing about Sócrates services requires separate, optional permission that you can withdraw. Necessary security, abuse prevention and legal compliance records are handled on the applicable basis. For Canadian activities subject to PIPEDA or applicable provincial laws, we seek meaningful consent, limit collection and use to the stated purposes, and address access and correction requests.
5. Dedicated hosting and safeguards
The platform uses a dedicated server contracted by Sócrates; that server is not shared with the hosting provider’s other customers. The datacenter may require restricted technical access for operations, maintenance or legal requirements. The application separates roles, checks access for new results, hashes passwords, uses expiring verification and recovery tokens, protects forms and limits sign-in attempts. Use HTTPS. Dedicated hosting is not a security certification or a guarantee of zero risk.
6. Access and service providers
You can access results linked to your account. Authorized Sócrates personnel operate the service and respond to requests for the stated purposes. We do not sell personal information, provide it for cross-context behavioral advertising or automatically give identifiable results to ACIC or other institutions. Any institutional access requires a defined purpose, permissions and an appropriate basis. Hosting and email providers may process information necessary to deliver those services.
7. International processing
The service is managed from Brazil. Hosting and email providers may involve processing in other countries, whose laws and lawful access rules may differ from yours. This application does not verify the physical datacenter location. Contact us for supplier and contractual details before submitting information if location is material to your use. We will address applicable cross-border requirements for the operation.
8. Retention and deletion
New marketing-enabled assessments without an account are retained for up to 12 months, then removed by a daily cleanup routine. Results saved to an account remain until deletion or a removal request, subject to legal exceptions. Pre-version-2 records are not automatically assigned a new retention period; you may request review or deletion. Administrative trash is recoverable, not permanent erasure. Verification links expire after 24 hours and password recovery links after 30 minutes. Technical logs and backups, if present, follow applicable obligations and infrastructure rotation; removal from the active database does not instantly remove every technical copy.
9. US privacy requests
Depending on your state and whether the relevant law applies, rights may include knowing or accessing personal information, correction, deletion, portability, and opting out of sale, sharing or targeted advertising, without unlawful discrimination. We do not sell or share data for cross-context behavioral advertising and do not enable those optional trackers. A Global Privacy Control signal therefore does not need to disable any such activity in this version. You can contact us or an applicable authorized agent may submit a request; proportionate identity checks and legal exceptions may apply. If an applicable state law provides an appeal, email us with “Privacy appeal”.
10. Canadian requests
For activities subject to Canadian privacy law, you may ask about our practices, request access and correction, challenge compliance and withdraw consent subject to applicable legal or contractual restrictions and reasonable notice. We will explain relevant consequences and respond within the applicable time limits, including permitted extensions. You may contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada or the relevant provincial authority where appropriate.
11. Marketing and account closure
To stop promotional contact, email info@socrates.la with “Withdraw Radar IA contact”. You can keep an account while declining marketing. The account deletion feature, confirmed with your password, removes the account, linked assessments and related requests from the active database. If a legal duty requires retention, we will explain the reason and period. Transactional account or security messages are distinct from marketing.
12. Scoring, adults and changes
Answers from 0 to 4 are converted to area scores from 0 to 100 and dimension weights determine the overall score. Answers are not sent to external AI models for scoring. This is guidance based on self-reported information, not an external audit. Radar IA does not use the score for credit, employment or legal decisions about you. The service is intended for adult business representatives, not children. Contact us about unintended submissions or a request to clarify the result. Updates will be posted here with a date; a new purpose requiring permission will be presented before use.
